I was born and spent my childhood near Sherbrooke, in the province of Québec.

After graduating in Music Education from Laval University in Québec City, I moved to the Ottawa area.

My mother had taught me to knit, crochet and sew when I was still in grade school. Since moving to Outaouais area, I have studied patternmaking, weaving, hat making, felting, beading and assorted embroidery techniques.

I have been making cloth dolls for nearly 25 years. Over the time, my dolls have evolved from flat, two-dimensional patterns to, sometimes, three-dimensions  wired bodies covered with fabric, with articulated arms and legs, needle-sculpted faces! I love to incorporate different techniques when I create my dolls: sewing with a variety of fabric, mixing texture, playing with textiles : it allows me to use my skills.

I have been selling my dolls through craft fairs, studio tours and art galleries in Québec and Ontario for almost 20 years now. In November 2011, I had a solo exhibition at l’Espace Pierre-Debain in Gatineau.

I am a founding (and still) member of Ottawa doll club ALL DOLLED UP (since 1997)

I make dolls to brighten your environment. Each one is adorned with unique clothing and embellishments of my own design!
